Bangsa Indonesia is a grand nation, one that should be proud of the wealth of natural resources and culture inherited from its predecessors. The fundamental question lies in our ability to preserve our heritage. Are we able to preserve it so that future generations may utilize it fully?
To answer this question, the Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation (YAD) was established with programs dedicated to various social causes and education through the improvement of facilities and infrastructure. YAD provides scholarships and support for teachers, lecturers, and professors. YAD aims to improve educational facilities, most especially of those related to history, such as archaeology, anthropology, literature, and so on. YAD focuses on fields related to history with the purpose of bringing the nation closer to its identity. We hope that through the development of education through said activities, more of the nation’s children who care about their historical roots will move to preserve their heritage and carry those actions in their daily lives.
This nation must continue its glory as evidenced from the height of the greatness of the Majapahit Kingdom, as well as from the period of struggle for Indonesian independence. Let us continue and realize the ideals and aspirations of our predecessors by preserving our culture and our environment for a glorious Indonesia!
