In the middle of 2021, SOC have Planned to release 3 more orangutans, Selly, Maya, and Nicky. These three orangutans have attended forest school for almost
3 years, and based on observations du- ring forest school all three are considered to have been able to survive in the wild, because each of them has known more than 25 types of natural food, they are also actively exploring in the upper can- opy and make nests while in the forest.

Selly (female, 7 years old) came to the SOC rehabilitation center on January 16, She was only 1.5 years old when she became a victim of hunting and traffick ing in protected animals. While still a pet, her neck was tied with a rope and placed in front of the shop owned by the owner located at Upit Village, South Belimbing District, Melawi Regency. When evacuated, Selly was in a good health condition, although when she was still a pet, she was fed with human food such as rice, sponge cake, and milk. After examine a quarantine process in Sintang, she was finally able to attend a forest school on October 20, 2018
