We are the Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation

The Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation (YAD) stemmed from the social activities carried out by the family of Hashim Djojohadikusumo. Mrs. Anie Hashim Djojohadikusumo began helping those in need over 35 years ago.

The family eventually formed the Hashim Djojohadikusumo Family Foundation (YKHD) as the foundation’s activities increased and expanded. On October 20, 2009, YKHD was renamed the Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation (YAD). Arsari is an acronym for the three children of Mr. and Mrs. Hashim Djojohadikusumo – Aryo, Sara, and Indra.

Today, the foundation supports programmes and activities in education, social services, environment, and culture, while collaborating with higher education institutions, the government, and other non-profit organisations.

Salam Lestari.

Indonesia, a land of immense natural beauty and cultural diversity, has a rich history that shapes our identity as a nation. As the founder of the Arsari Djojohadikusumo Foundation (YAD), I am deeply committed to preserving this heritage for generations to come. YAD was established with the mission of fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indonesia’s past, present, and future. Through our programmes and initiatives, we aim to empower individuals to connect with their roots, explore the depths of our history, and contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage. By nurturing a generation of informed and engaged citizens, we hope to inspire a renewed sense of pride in our nation and a commitment to building a brighter future for all.
